Some years ago I came across a show called Deep Nine, a show which had a profound impact on my life.
The character of Odo played by Rene Auberjonois was by far my favourite, as I could relate to him the most.
Odo was a shape-shifter who started out by not knowing where he came from., and throughout the seven years that the show ran for, we saw his battle to be excepted by other, to fit in a world where shape-shifters where not always welcome something that captured my heart.
Being a sci-fi fan it can at times be easy to relate to someone who is quite often seen as the outsider, (the odd one out if you will) but despite all his difference, in the end Odo prevailed, and good triumphed over evil
